FAQ:
Booking Your Session:
Newborn sessions are held at our in-home studio in Mount Cotton. We recommend booking in advance, whilst you're still pregnant to ensure we can secure a session date based on your due date. A deposit is required to confirm. Once your little one arrives, simply get in touch with Alana to confirm a session date — ideally within the first 14 days after birth when babies are extra sleepy and curled up.
Of course, older newborns are still more than welcome! Beautiful, meaningful photos can be captured at every stage — including that more awake and expressive period beyond the two-week window.
Special Note for Preemies & Multiples:
Premature babies and twins/triplets often have different timelines due to extended hospital stays. Their “sleepy and squishy” window may last a little longer, and we’re happy to work around those unique needs. Multiples are charged the same as a single newborn — no extra cost.

Before your session, we’ll chat about your style preferences, colour palettes, and how to prepare. But don’t stress — it’s simple:
Bring yourself, bring your baby, bring any bottles, comforters or sentimental items, and settle in for a relaxed morning. Enjoy a chat and a warm coffee while Alana works her magic to create memories that will last a lifetime.
